Cream butter and sugar.
Add eggs one at a time, beat. Add vanilla. - 2
Combine dry ingredients and add to wet mix with addition of the milk.

Spread into a 8" square, buttered and floured pan

Bake 30 - 40 minutes at preheated oven.
