A popular dish from Sabah, Malaysia. Usually famous among the Dusun people. In Sabah it’s actually known as Kodop. Kinda small looking mushroom.
Steps
- 1
Soak the dried mushroom(Kodop) in order to soften it before cook😉
- 2
While waiting for the Kodop to ready. Let’s prepare the Bak choy. Wash, rinse and cut it. Well, if you don’t want it to be cut in half its okay. Just do it as you like your Bak Choy being done.
- 3
Chopped some onions, chilies and hotdog. The chilies will give you some extra spicy. You can also switch the sausage to any kind of meat like chicken if you like. I just use what I have in the fridge at the moment😅 Then, stir fry the sausage and remove the excess oil.
- 4
Stir fry the Kodop first till it cook and dried up all the water. Then, add the onions and the chilies. Stir and mix it again.
- 5
After all ingredients are mix, then add the Bak Choy. Stir it until the Bak Choy are nicely cook. Then add the cooked sausage. Don’t forget to add seasoning. Mine I just add some salt and chicken stock powder. Ready to serve!😝
