Northern native food in my country. It's one of my fav.
Steps

Wash the rice and soak in water for 8 hours or overnight. Rinse and add the cooked rice with ginger, garlic and grind/blend till smooth.

Add yeast, sugar and salt mix well and keep in warm place to ferment (2-4hrs)

Heat a non-stick pan on medium/low flame, rub little oil on the pan with cotton or tissue and scoop the batter and close the pan with lid.

When bubbles appears on top it shows that it's done.

When fermented add little baking powder and mix.

Remove and continue till you finished. Serve with soup, stew, sauce or honey.
