N a saucepan, boil water, add pasta and cook as per the package directions.

In a skillet, melt butter, add flour, cook until the flour is fragrant. Add milk (1 1/2 cup), stir vigorously to make the mixture lump free.

Add in the mushrooms, simmer for about 15 minutes. Add water or milk whenever the mixture looks too thick, stir frequently.

In a blender, pour in half of the sauce and blend to a fine paste, pour the sauce back into the skillet.

Add in the pasta, season with Italian seasoning.
