This scrumptious traditional kashmiri dessert is perfect for any special occasions. While the traditional Phirni is made with ground rice, in Kashmir it is made with Suji, Rava or Semolina. Flavored with saffron, green cardamom and garnished with some nuts. This grainy texture thick and creamy. Phirni is best served chilled.

Steps
- 1
Firstly, bring the milk to a boil. Keep the flame on low. Now gradually add the semolina and stir constantly.
Keep on stirring often so that lumps do not form.
Also, scrape the sides often and add it to the simmering until the milk thickens. - 2
Now add sugar, cardamom powder, and saffron influence milk. Cook phirni for a further 2-3 minutes until you get a creamy pudding-like consistency. Turn off the flame.
- 3
Once the phirni comes to room temperature, put it in refrigerator. Serve cold or in room temperature. Enjoy 😊.
