Veg Sizzler with Homemade Barbecue Sauce Without Sizzler Plate!!

Barbecue Sauce - Heat oil in a kadhai on medium flame. Add chopped ginger, garlic green chilli, onion and saute for 2 to 3 mins. Then add black pepper powder, bay leaf, mix and saute for a minute. Further add tomato ketchup, water, soya sauce, tender fresh green coriander stems, mix well and boil it for 7 to 8 mins on medium flame stirring occasionally.

Then add mustard sauce, mix and boil for a minute. Switch off the flame. Strain the mixture in a bowl and keep aside for further use. Barbecue Sauce is ready.

Veggies Tikki - Mash boiled potatoes and take in a mixing bowl. Add all the ingredients mentioned for veggies tikki in a mixing bowl except bread crumbs for coating and oil for frying. Mix everything well. Make semi thick smooth slurry by adding corn flour (6 tbsp), maida (3 tbsp) and water (as required). Now divide the prepared mixture in equal 4 parts keeping some mixture aside.

Make smooth balls, press between palms and make tikki. Dip tikki in slurry and then coat with bread crumbs from all sides. Deep fry all tikki's and keep aside.

Stuffed Veggies - Cut top portion of the tomato, gently remove all the seeds portion from the centre. In same way cut top portion of the capsicum and gently remove all the seeds portion from the centre. Heat water in a pan on medium flame and boil tomato and capsicum for 5 to 6 mins on high flame. Remove from water and let it cool down. Stuff the veggies tikki mixture in tomato, capsicum and keep aside.

Veggies - Blanch broccoli in boiling for 2 to 3 mins. Remove in stainer. Heat butter in a pan on medium flame. Add black pepper powder and stir for a minute. Add blanched broccoli florets, french beans, carrot, boiled green peas, salt and saute for 4 to 5 mins on high flame. Switch off the flame and keep aside.

Buttered Rice - Heat butter in a pan on low flame. Add oregano, mix and then add cooked rice. Mix well, sprinkle some water on it. Cover and cook for 3 to 4 mins. Add chopped fresh green coriander leaves, mix and keep aside.

Assembling - Heat iron pan or tawa on high flame. Place some cabbage leaves on super hot iron pan. Then keep prepared buttered rice on one side of pan. Keep stir fried veggies on one side of pan. Keep french fries on other side of the pan.
Place prepared 4 veggies tikki, stuffed tomato and capsicum on buttered rice. - 9
Keep chilled butter cubes on pan. Pour hot barbecue sauce on plate and serve. Enjoy !!
