Makes four "four square" waffles in a Cuisinart Belgian waffle maker.

This is an adaptation of my pancake recipe (which I'd worked on for about 10 years) which I'd made after I got a waffle iron. I might like these even better, so definitely give it a try! Makes a great breakfast when you want something nice but don't want to spend too much time either.

Quick and easy, and you can skip beating the egg whites to make them faster; not as fluffy but just as delicious.
