Lau Chingri Curry/Bottlegourd and Prawn curry

Today I got time to cook this recipe for my better half. He loves this recipe of lau chingri curry with mustard paste. In fact all my family members love this preparation. For me, marking this recipe is easy and simple. Bottlegourd is a biennial vegetable and available at the end of the winter season.
Lau Chingri Curry/Bottlegourd and Prawn curry

Arrange and assemble the ingredients.

Fry the marinated prawns. Set aside.

Heat cooking oil. Add ponch phutan and allow it to crackle. Mix onion, garlic and green chilli.

Saute till rawness is gone. Add two boiled tomatoes and mustard powder.

Also add cumin powder, red chilli powder. Saute till water evaporates.

Mix fried prawns and cook for 30 seconds on low flame.

Then add and mix boiled lauki and potato. Cook till gravy is half. Adjust salt and garnish with chopped coriander leaves. Serve with steamed rice.
