I missed home cook, I remember one of street food that so popular in my home town, when I see what ingredients it similar with Tokoyaki, Japanese food that also my fav. Then this is how this food was born in my kitchen.

Mixed garlic,onion,and dried little shrimp in the blender.

Place the flour into a frying pan, stir it with low fire until its brown

Boil all blended spices with 2 cups of water for 15 minutes

Transfer flour in frying pan into A bowl Add boiled spices to flour

Cut small the turmeric leaves and place into the bowl, leave it to cool down about 2 hours.

Make a size of small ball, then deep fried with small fire, but dont put in high fire the ball will explode.

Then you can enjoy your Salalauak Balls. Yum yum eat with rice cakes and cabbages curry.
