Shell the peanuts. Leave the brown inner skins.

Add the peanuts to the frying pan with oil.

After sautéeing for a bit, remove the frying pan from heat.

Add the miso and sugar.

Return the frying pan to the heat and continue stirring.

When the sugar melts and the consistency becomes even, it's ready to serve.
