Steps

In a closed vessel, cook the chicken until tender for half an hour on medium flame.

Boil the potatoes and peel them. Keep aside.

Next, slice the big onions thinly.

Then, grind the ginger and garlic to paste.

In a non-stick pan, saute the sliced onions on medium flame for 15 minutes till brown.

Next, dice the tomatoes and saute with the onions for 10 minutes till it's mashed.

Then, add in the turmeric powder, coriander powder and the red chilli powder and saute together.

Then, pour in the boiled chicken contents and cook together.

Later, add in the potatoes and pepper and stir continuously.

Stir till the chicken curry is of thick consistency.

Finally the chicken curry will be ready in another 15 minutes when they are bound together.

Serve warm with rotis or Chappathis. You could serve it with Naans or even Khubz.

If served with rice, keep curd raitas or salads as accompaniment.

You could relish it with bread too. Serve as an Afternoon meal.
