Ingredients

2 servings
  1. 6Satoimo (taro)
  2. 1/2 tbspSesame oil
  3. 200 ml◇Water
  4. 1 tbsp◇Sake
  5. 1 tbsp◇Sugar
  6. 1 tbsp◆Soy sauce
  7. 1 tsp◆Mirin
  8. 1 dash◆Salt
  9. 1pack Bonito flakes

Steps

  1. 1

    Peel the skins from the potatoes, and slice into 2-3 round, and bevel the edges. Sprinkle salt to remove the slime, and rinse with water.

  2. 2

    Heat sesame oil in a pot, and saute the potatoes. Add in ◇, boil for 2-3 minutes, and then add in ◆. Cover with a drop lid, and boil it down until about 1 cm of broth remains.

  3. 3

    Add the bonito flakes, and briskly mix together so that they soak up the broth, and it is done once the flavor has settled.
