Ingredients

  1. 2 cupsyellow rice dinner mix or two bags
  2. 1large cooking onion, yellow
  3. 1/4 cupextra virgin olive oil
  4. 1 poundbeef sausage
  5. 1-1/2 quartsbeef broth

Steps

  1. 1

    Heat the oil and add onion. Sauté till caramelized. Add the rice and toast it.

    When rice is toasted add the sausage and broth. Cover and cook the rice. When craters form leave the lid on it and keep covered for 20 minutes undisturbed.
