ice water

Cut the potatoes into frie shape

Add the fries into ice water to remove the starch

Heat oil to 325°f

Deep fry in batches untill fries are cooked in the middle but not crispy
5

Heat oil to 375°f add all fries and cook until crispy
6

Take out and sprinkle with salt and pepper
