Paparoti Cake

I just learned this dish during a trip to Europe. It makes a great breakfast. I don't drink coffee, but this recipe uses coffee, so I spread a lighter coffee layer for myself on top, while the bottom has a stronger coffee flavor, turning the cake darker and giving it a wonderful aroma.

Steps
- 1
Measure all ingredients and place them in a bowl. Use a fork to mix well, starting with the flour.
- 2
Once the flour is fully combined with the egg, add the melted butter.
- 3
If you prefer less coffee flavor, let the mixture sit for 10 minutes so the coffee settles at the bottom. Then spread the sauce evenly over the surface of the bread. Place the bread in an air fryer and bake at 350°F (180°C) for 10 minutes.
- 4
Serve warm with coffee or hot chocolate for breakfast.
