Soak daal overnight with soda.

Next day,grind daal with onion,ginger,garlic,salt and half of chilli powder.

Heat oil in a wok.

Put spoonfuls of batter and fry till light golden.

Soak fritters in luke warm water till tender.
- 6
Mix salt,caraway seeds and remaining chilli powder in yoghurt.
- 7
Mix fritters in yoghurt.
- 8
Serve straight away.
