Beat the egg and sugar together until the sugar dissolves and the mixture is a light yellow color.

Add the soybean oil, milk, vanilla extract, and baking powder. Stir until combined.

Add the all-purpose flour in three parts. Stir just until there are no flour lumps.

Put the dough in a piping bag, or if you don't have one, shape it by hand. Bake at 320°F (160°C) for 20 minutes or until done. Oven temperatures may vary, so watch for a beautiful golden color.
