Ingredients

Makes 3 1/2 doz
  • 1/2 cupshortening
  • 1 cupsugar
  • 1egg
  • 2 tablespoonsmilk
  • 2 cupssifted cake flour
  • 1/4 teaspoonsalt
  • 2squares unsweetened chocolate, melted and cooled

Steps

  1. 1

    Cream shortening; add sugar and cream thoroughly

  2. 2

    Add egg unbeaten

  3. 3

    Alternately add milk and flour sifted with salt. Mix in the cooled chocolate.

  4. 4

    Fill a MIRRO cookie press half full. Form cookies on ungreased aluminum cookie sheets. Bake 8-10 minutes in 375° oven.
