Easy Banana Cake, Jum's Style

1. Sift the flour, salt, baking soda, and sugar together twice. Set aside.

2. Mash the bananas in a mixing bowl and mix in the lemon juice. Set aside.

3. Crack the eggs into a bowl, add the vanilla extract, and whisk until the eggs are pale. Add the oil and milk, and continue whisking until combined.

4. Pour the egg mixture into the banana mixture and whisk until just combined.

5. Gradually add the flour mixture into the liquid mixture in three parts, folding gently until well combined. Set aside.

6. Pour the batter into a baking pan and bake at 320°F (160°C) with top and bottom heat, no fan, for about 1 hour and 10 minutes, or until done. 👉 Check doneness by inserting a skewer into the center and pulling it out. If it comes out clean, the cake is done.
