Season chops with salt & pepper

Add oil to fry pan & heat

Place chops in pan & brown on both side, then remove chops

Add diced onion & cook until translucent

Add flour to onions & stir for about 1 minute

Combine beer, ketchup, thyme & brown sugar in a bowl & stir mixture

Add chops back into pan & pour sauce mixture over chops with bay leaf

Simmer uncovered for about 20 minutes until sauce thickens, flipping chops once while cooking
