Ingredients

  • About 1 leaf cabbage
  • About 1/2 inch carrot
  • 1.8 ozground pork (50g)
  • 1small amount soy sauce
  • 1/2 cupwater (100ml)
  • 10gyoza wrappers

Steps

  1. 1

    Finely chop the cabbage and carrot (or other vegetables you like).

  2. 2

    Place the ground pork in a bowl and knead until it becomes sticky.

  3. 3

    Add the chopped vegetables and soy sauce to the pork and mix well.

  4. 4

    Scoop a spoonful of filling and wrap it in a gyoza wrapper. (Wet the edge of the wrapper with water and pleat as you seal.)

  5. 5

    Heat a little vegetable oil in a skillet, arrange the gyoza so they don't overlap, add the water, cover, and steam over low heat.

  6. 6

    When the water has evaporated, remove the lid and cook until the bottoms are golden brown. Done!
