Ingredients

Serves 2 servings
  1. 1onion
  2. Ponzu sauce, to taste
  3. Bonito flakes, to taste
  4. Toasted sesame seeds, to taste
  5. Salt, a pinch (for boiling the onion)

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Cut the onion in half lengthwise, then slice thinly (about 1mm) along the grain.
    *Using a slicer makes this easier♪

    Bring a pot of water to a boil, and once boiling, add salt and the sliced onion from [1] to cook.
    *It's ready after about 10 seconds of re-boiling♪

  3. 3

    Drain in a colander, spread out to cool, and remove excess water♪

  4. 4

    Serve on a plate, top with toasted sesame seeds and bonito flakes.
    (Just before eating) Drizzle with ponzu sauce and enjoy^^♪
