Fried Yakitori Skewers

Yakitori is always delicious, but frying the skewers makes them even better!
Recipe background:
I sometimes buy yakitori from restaurants or as takeout. I wondered if coating them in breadcrumbs and frying them would taste good, so I finally tried making it myself!

Steps
- 1
Prepare the yakitori skewers. You can use store-bought, takeout, or uncooked yakitori from the meat section. If using seasoned yakitori, use the salted kind.
- 2
Coat the skewers in flour, then dip in the beaten egg, and finally coat with panko breadcrumbs. For a tip to help the coating stick better, see Recipe ID20623632.
- 3
Fry in oil heated to 340°F (170°C) until golden brown. Remove and drain excess oil, then place on a plate.
- 4
Add your favorite seasonings and enjoy! I sprinkled mine with salt.
