Ingredients

As needed, oil
5.3 oz (150 g)boneless, skinless chicken thigh pieces (cut for oyakodon or similar)
1 teaspoonsugar
1 tablespoonsake (Japanese rice wine)
1 tablespoonmirin (sweet cooking rice wine)
2 tablespoonssoy sauce

Steps

Heat a pan and add oil. Add the chicken pieces and sauté.

When the chicken turns white, add all the ingredients marked with ★ (sugar, sake, mirin, soy sauce).

Simmer on low heat until the sauce thickens. Serve.
