  • 1 c.Uncooked long grain rice
  • 3 Tblbutter or coconut oil
  • 1 tspchopped fresh garlic
  • 1 tsponion powder or dry minced onion
  • 1 tsptumeric powder
  • 1/2 tspsalt
  • 2 cchicken broth
  • 1/3 cCooked beans or frozen peas (optional)
  • Chopped cilantro for garish

    Mix all ingredients together, put into a rice cooker.

    Once done, lightly fluffy the rice to thoroughly mix the beans.

    Serve alone or use as side
