Easy Microwave Udon V22 with Two Types of Seafood Tempura

This is an easy microwave udon (version 22), based on version 21’s mini seafood tempura with squid, now with added shrimp. The egg drop uses two eggs for extra heartiness.

This is version 22 of easy microwave udon. I added mini seafood tempura with shrimp to version 21, plus some pickled red turnip. Using two eggs for the egg drop made it more filling.

Cut open the top of the udon noodle package and microwave for 3 minutes.

Add the udon soup base to a cup (like an instant noodle cup) and pour in boiling water.

Add the microwaved udon noodles to the cup and loosen them well.

Add the mini seafood tempura and imitation crab sticks, then pour in the beaten eggs.

Microwave for 1 minute 40 seconds. Check and microwave for an additional 20 seconds if needed.

Finally, add the pickled red turnip and serve.
