This KL specialty is hard if not impossible to find outside of Malaysia. I tried to replicate but missing some essential ingredients especially lard. Hope you enjoy!

Fry the eggs

Sautee the garlic until lightly golden

Add the shitake mushrooms

Toss into the cabbage and stir fry on medium heat. I added some fish sauce

Cover and switch to low heat.
Boil water then add udon noodles for 1-2 min to loosen the noodles - 6
Strain the noodles and prepare the sauce. The quantities are approximate, you can adjust as you like. Well mix the noodles in the sauce

Toss noodles into the pan and turn on high heat. Stir until the noodles dry up

I added back the fried eggs but you can opt not to

Dish out and serve immediately
