Ingredients

  • 2 cupscooked macaroni
  • 2 cupsbread crumbs
  • 2 teaspoonsminced onion
  • 2/3 cupmelted butter
  • 1 canpimento
  • 2 cupsgrated cheese
  • 1/8 teaspoonpepper
  • 1green pepper
  • 3/4 teaspoonsalt
  • 2 cupsscalded milk
  • 4eggs
  • 2 tablespoonsbutter
  • 2 tablespoonsflour
  • 1/4 cupheavy cream
  • 1 canmushrooms
  • 1 cupchicken stock
  • to taste Celery salt
  • to taste Pepper
  • to taste Paprika

Steps

  1. 1

    Grind onion,green pepper and pimento. Scald milk,pour over crumbs. Add butter and other ingredients,well beaten egg yolks,fold in beaten egg whites. Cook in 350 oven 2 hours wit pan set in hot water.

  2. 2

    Blend flour and melted butter. Heat stock and cream with in double boiler. Add flour mixture,mushrooms and seasoning. Top with paprika when serving.
