Steps

Cut the gourd into large pieces and Marinate with besan, ginger-garlic paste, turmeric, red chilli, and coriander powder.

After 15mts. Heat oil and saute or cook the gourd till a bit soft

Meanwhile grind the ingredients in the gravy section.

Now heat a tbsp of oil, add asofedita (optional), and add the gravy paste. Add all the spices and mix well. Add gourd and water and cook covered for 5mts

Add chopped coriander and serve with paratha or rice.
