Stuffed Grape Leaves with Meat and Tomato Sauce

Stuffed Grape Leaves with Meat and Tomato Sauce
Steps
- 1
Boil the grape leaves in water until they soften, then let them cool. Meanwhile, prepare the filling.
- 2
Wash the rice, then mix it with the ground beef, tomato paste, oil, 1 tablespoon salt, and spices until well combined to make the filling.
- 3
Stuff the grape leaves with the filling and roll them up. Arrange them in a cooking pot, then add enough water to cover, along with salt and tomato paste. Press them down with a flat plate to keep them from unrolling. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat to low.
- 4
Ten minutes before turning off the heat, add the lemon juice. Once done, serve and enjoy!
- 5
Simmer for 1 to 1 1/2 hours after boiling, depending on how tender the grape leaves are.
