Ghee rice Kerala style lunch.Very aromatic & tasty 😋
Steps

Wash rice properly & soak in the water for half an hour

Assemble all ingredients in a plate.Heat ghee in the wok or rice cooker and add cashews fry on a low flame till brown & transfer to a plate

Now add raisins & fry till it gets fluffy transferred to a plate.

Then in the same ghee add bay leaves & other masala ingredients stir well & add sliced onions

We have to brown the onions while stirring continuously on low to medium flame.literally brown

Take some brown onion out for garnishing.Now add soaked & drain rice into it also add water n salt

And sliced green chillies,some cashews & raisins.Rest reserve for garnishing. Cook while covering on a low flame 🔥

When cooked fluff up the rice with thin slicer

Now neychoru or ghee rice are ready to serve.Transger to a serving bowl garnish with roasted cashews raisins and serve aromatic rice & enjoy lunch😋
