Steps
- 1
Dry roast badam on slow gas for 5 minutes. Cool down completely.
Wipe dry soft khajoor. Slit and remove the core seed. Stuff in roasted almond into the slit khajoor. Close and shape it properly. - 2
Ready all the dates similarly. Melt 1/3 quantity of dark chocolate in microwave or by the double boiler method. Stir and temper the chocolate well until shiny and cooled to room temperature.
Now melt some more chocolate and continue coating the stuffed dates with it. - 3
Dip the stuffed khajoor into melted dark chocolate. Set on a tray lined with butter paper. Use fork and toothpick for proper finish.
Coarsely grind some badam for sprinkling. - 4
Sprinkle coarse badam powder on the chocolate coated khajoor.
- 5
Allow the chocolate to set at room temperature itself. (This avoids the condensation that appears on the chocolate when set in fridge). It takes almost 6 hours to set.
- 6
Now wrap in colourful wrappers. Store in airtight box at room temperature.
- 7
Enjoy a delicious guilt-free
Dates-Badam Chocolate
with Family and friends.
Happy Cooking 😊
