Gujarati Sweet and Sour Kadhi

Curd is rich source of calcium. Enjoy Gujarati Sweet and Tangy Kadhi with steamed rice, khichdi, Paratha or fulka.

In a big pot take curd, add water and Besan in it. Whisk evening to a smooth consistency. There should not be any lumps in this mixture.

Now add green chilli, ginger, sugar and salt. On medium flame stir continuously this mixture. Let kadhi mixture come to a boil first. Be careful about stick at the bottom of the pan. Stir continuously for 5 minutes on low flame.

In a pan heat 1 tbsp ghee, add cumin seeds in it, when it crackle add cloves, cinnamon stick, dry red chilli, curry leaves and hing. Pour it on boiled kadhi.

Now boil 2 minutes more. Add fresh coriander leaves in it. Gujarati Sweet and Sour Kadhi is ready for serve.

Serve hot Gujarati Kadhi with steamed rice, khichdi, pulao, masala rice, Paratha or fulka roti.
