Wash a glass/cup of rice

Add two glasses of cold water, salt it, don't stir the rice.

Boil for 7-10 mins

Turn the heat off. Let is sit with the lid on for 15 more mins until all the water is absorbed and you can see dimples in the rice.

When fully cooked and still hot, add a few big lumps of butter, let them melt, stir the rice gently.

Serve hot, salted (additionally buttered if preferred)
