Soak Chana Dal Overnight and then grind into smooth paste by adding ginger + green chilli, add very little water while grinding.

Grate Pumpkin, Marinade with little salt and marinade for 20 minutes.

Squeeze excess water from marinade Pumpkin, squeeze as much as possible.

In a mixing bowl, add grated Pumpkin, add Chana Dal paste + salt + carom seeds + red chilli powder + chopped Coriander + bread crumbs and mix well.

Give shape of Tikki and coat with bread crumbs, refrigerate for 20 minutes.

Heat sufficient Oil in pan, allow to heat, then start dropping Tikkis.
Shallow fry till golden brown, flip and fry the other side too. - 7
Tikkis are done.
