Ingredients

1 hour & 15 minutes

2-4 people

2 CansGolden wax beans (drained & rinsed)
1/2 lbThick sliced bacon (1/2" diced)
3 TbsButter
2 CupsMilk
Water (To cover beans in pot)

Steps

1 hour & 15 minutes

Add rinsed beans into pot & fill with water until beans are fully covered.

Add chopped bacon to pot & simmer UNCOVERED for 1 hour.

When water decreases to 1/2 or less, add the butter & milk & heat up, but DON'T boil.

Scoop some out & add to single serving bowls as side dish.
