Let the tapioca root soak in enough clean drinking water for about 20 minutes at the least. Peel it's skin and slice it thinly using a slicer. This way they tend to be crisp and crunchy. And also get done very quickly.

Heat enough oil for frying on a medium high heat. Add few slices of tapioca and fry until light golden and crisp. Keep tossing and turning at regular intervals to ensure even frying on all the sides.

Spread them on a kitchen napkin or a paper towel. Sprinkle salt and chat masala as needed when they ate still hot. Toss until well combined.

Serve it to your folks right away. Relish these with a spicy or a cheesy dip. Enjoy!
