In a bowl add rice flour, finely chopped onions, grated carrot, finely chopped green chilli, ginger, curry leaves, cumin seeds, finely chopped coriander leaves, salt to taste. Mix all indegrients very well and add required water. Make a soft and smooth dough. Apply oil to the dough.

Take butter paper and apply oil. Make medium size ball of dough and keep it on butter paper. Pat the dough with hands to form thin and round shape. Use oil or water while patting the dough as it will not stick to fingers.

Heat a tawa. Add oil and gently put the akki roti on tawa. Add oil if required and fry the akki roti on all and both sides.

Serve hot with coconut chutney or any pickle of your choice.
