Hummus with Tahini is a popular receipe from MENA region. Hummus is a middle eastern dip or spread which is eaten mostly with breads.Chickpeas being a main ingredient of the recipe. Mashed or blended chickpeas with spices and lemon juice giving it a nice aroma. When combined with Tahini it forms a whole bunch of nutrition.Tahini is commonly used in Middle eastern countries. Made from ground Sesame seeds to form a creamy smooth nutty paste. Used as topping and spread or can be used for desserts.

To make Tahini, first Dry roast sesame seeds until they turn golden brown, Off the flame and allow to cool for few minutes.

Then transfer to mixer jar. Add oil and a pinch of salt. Grind until you get a smooth creamy textured paste.
Keep aside. - 3
Assemble ingredients for preparing Hummus. Grind cooked chickpeas, tahini, coriander leaves, cumin, garlic, red chilli powder,oil, lemon juice and water as required. Blend until you get a smooth creamy texture.

Pour the Hummus in a deep serving bowl. Spoon the topping mixture with cooked chickpeas, pomegranate, cucumber slices, grapes and coriander leaves. Sprinkle cumin powder and red chilli powder.
