Ingredients

4-6 servings
  • 4-6large croissants, day old, sliced
  • 3/4 cupsugat
  • 2eggs
  • 1 cupheavy cream
  • 2 tsp.vanilla essence
  • 2 cupsmixed berries, sliced
  • 1/4 cuppowdered sugar

Steps

    Grease a 9X13-inch baking dish with butter or non-stick cooking spray.

  2. 2

    In a mixing bowl, mix together the sugar, eggs, vanilla, and heavy cream until smooth. Set the custard aside.

  3. 3

    Arrange the sliced croissants in the prepared dish and pour over the prepared custard.

  4. 4

    Sprinkle berries evenly over croissants.

  5. 5

    Let rest for at least 20 minutes or refrigerate overnight.

  6. 6

    Preheat oven to 350 F/176C.

  7. 7

    Bake for 35-40 minutes or until golden brown and set in center.

  8. 8

    Serve warm with powdered sugar sprinkled on top.
