Ingredients

6 servings
  1. 2-3 cupschickpeas, boiled
  2. 3potatoes, boiled, cubed
  3. 1tomato, chopped
  4. 1onion, chopped
  5. 1cucumber, chopped
  6. 3 tbsp.yogurt
  7. 1/2 cupmilk
  8. To taste, salt
  9. 1 tsp.chilli powder
  10. 1 tsp.cumin powder
  11. 1 tsp.coriander powder
  12. 1 tsp.chaat masala
  13. 2 tsp.tamarind chutney, divided
  14. 1 tsp.chilli flakes
  15. 1tbsp.. cilantro, chopped
  16. As required, papri, crushed
  17. As required, cabbage-carrot-onion-cucumber salad
  18. 1 tsp.ketchup

Cooking Instructions

30 minutes

    In a bowl add the chickpeas, potatoes, tomato, onion and cucumber and mix well.

    In another bowl add the yogurt and whisk.

  3. 3

    Add the milk and whisk.

  4. 4

    Add the spices and half of the tamarind chutney and mix well.

  5. 5

    Pour the spiced yogurt over the chickpeas and mix well.

  6. 6

    Add the cilantro, mixing, and transfer t the chaat to serving dish.

  7. 7

    Sprinkle over crushed papri, salald, drizzle tamarind chutney and ketchup and serve.
