Heat oil in a pan and add ajwain (carom seeds) and jeera (cumin seeds). Let them splutter.
Add hing (asafoetida), crushed garlic, cluster beans, haldi (turmeric powder), Kashmiri red chili powder, methi masala powder, and salt to taste. Mix well. - 2
Add 1/2 cup water and stir well. Cover the pan with a lid and let the vegetables cook for 5-7 minutes. Check the vegetables in between.
