Ingredients

20 minutes
4 servings
  • 250 gramsCluster beans (fresh & tender)
  • 1/2 teaspooncarom seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • A pinch of Asafoetida
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon kashmiri Red chilli powder
  • 1 teaspoon Fenugreek masala(pickle masala)
  • Salt to taste
  • Water as needed
  • 3 teaspoon oil

Steps

20 minutes
  1. 1

    Heat oil in a pan and add ajwain (carom seeds) and jeera (cumin seeds). Let them splutter.
    Add hing (asafoetida), crushed garlic, cluster beans, haldi (turmeric powder), Kashmiri red chili powder, methi masala powder, and salt to taste. Mix well.

    Add 1/2 cup water and stir well. Cover the pan with a lid and let the vegetables cook for 5-7 minutes. Check the vegetables in between.

    If the vegetables are not cooked, add a little more warm water, mix well, cover the pan, and let it cook.

    Once the water is absorbed, add lemon juice and mix well.

    Ready! Serve hot and enjoy the nutritious cluster bean dish.
