Steps

Wash the rice and soak it in water overnight.

In a pot, bring 4 cups of water to a boil. Add sesame, carom, cumin, green chilli paste, oil, baking soda, and coriander.

Drain the soaked rice and add it to the boiling water.

Stir well, cover, and cook on medium heat for 20 minutes or until soft.

Mix well and serve hot with your choice of infused oil or achar masala.
Tips
For added flavor, you can infuse the oil with garlic or herbs before serving.
