Prepare an ingredients in advance,then in a medium size mixing bowl,add half medium onion thinly sliced,half potato cut into thinly slices,1/2 cup shredded cabbage,sprinkle over red chilli powder, turmeric powder,and salt,stir everything together until the vegetables are nicely coated.

In the same bowl add cumin powder,carom seeds,and coriander powder lightly toss the vegetables so the spices coat them evenly.

Prepared your steamer,pour about 2 cm water just enough to reach a bottom of a idli stand without touching the mold.

Preheat tha appe pan on low heat,place your pan over very low heat until the metal is slightly warm,testing a little drop of water should sezzle gently,heating slowly helps prevent burning and ensure even cooking through out.gently unmold the steam cooking pakodas and place one pakoda per cavity,cook until golden brown.

Ready your oil free pakoda serve it with tomato sauce, You can brush with oil at baking time,but I made only 0 oil,purely oil free pakoda. And specially I have completed 1000 recipes.
