Spread a thick layer of peanut butter on a slice of white bread leaving 1cm space on all sides and cover with another slice of bread

Soak the bread in beaten eggs starting with four sides first

Add oil on a pan until it covers the base and heat to 150 °C; maintain the temperature throughout cooking

Lay the bread on the pan and wiggle it constantly for a min
- 5
Flip the bread and wiggle it for another min
- 6
Fry the 4 sides by standing the side on the pan for 30 seconds each
- 7
Turn to higher heat and fry all 6 sides for 30 seconds each, or until golden
- 8
Serve with butter and syrup on top
