Make a checklist; keep all ingredients within reach. Soak saffron in 2tbsp hot water to dissolve, This would give a nice orange color.

Heat ghee in a sauce pan. Add cashew nuts and raisins and sauté for 1-2 minutes or untill the cashew nuts turn golden brown. Transfer to a plate set aside for garnishing later
Spice powder: crush the ingredients cardamom, cloves and nutmeg in a mortar with pestle, - 3
Take Basmati Rice in the rice cooker,Add sufficient water about 4c and wash for 2-3 times.
Add sufficient water 4c and soak for 20-25 minutes. Drain the water. In a sauce pan over medium heat, add 2tbsp ghee/butter. Stir in the black cardamom, bay leaf,. cloves and cinnamon, saute about a minute. Transfer this to the rice cooker - 4
Cooking in the rice cooker: add 3c of boiling water to the rice. Add 1tbsp of of butter., the crushed spice powder. Stir in safron. Turn on the rice cooker
Cook covered until the rice is cooked qbout 80% nice and fluffy. Add the peach. Pulao turns yellow and fragrant. Rice cooker gets turned off when the pulao is ready.

Transfer to a serving plate. garnish with the roasted cashews and raisins
