Add cowpeas into a pressure cooker rinse with plain water soak for five hours and cook for three whistles.

Cut the yellow pumpkin into small cubes.

Take a mixer jar and grated coconut grind and remove the coconut first and second milk.

Keep a deep fry pan on medium heat add cooked cowpeas, chopped green chillies, yellow pumpkin pieces, curry leaves salt. Then add the second coconut milk. Cook till the pumpkin becomes soft.

Then add the first coconut milk. Cook for a few minutes. Finely add coconut oil. Mix well and remove from the heat. Olan is ready to serve.

Transfer to a serving bowl. The tasty onam sadhya special olan is ready to serve.Enjoy with rice.
