Ingredients

  • 1 kgchicken thigh
  • 1large onion
  • About that much potato
  • 2 TbspGinger garlic paste
  • 200 gramscanned whole tomatoes
  • Spices
  • 1.5 tablespoonsKharagpur masala (use chilly powder about 1/2 a teaspoon as a substitute)
  • 1 Tspcumin
  • 1 Tspcoriander
  • 1/2 Tspturmeric
  • 1/2 Tspgram masala

Steps

  1. 1

    Cut the chicken and potato into bite-size pieces.

    Cook the onions until golden brown in sauce pan or a wok on medium heat

  3. 3

    Then add the ginger garlic paste as well as all of the spices and cook till the spices are fragrant.

  4. 4

    Add the tomatoes and cook down until it reduces

    Add the chicken and cook for 5 mins then reduce the heat and cover. Cook for another 10 mins than add the potatoes and cook until soft

  6. 6

    Top with coriander and salt to taste enjoy!!
