Steps

Soak sabudana in water for 5 hours. Soak saffron threads in 2 tablespoons of hot water. Keep the dry fruits finely chopped and ready.

Bring full-fat milk to a boil in a pan. Once it's boiling, reduce the heat to low. Add the sabudana - tapioca pearls. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly. Add the sugar and cook until dissolved.

Add dry fruits – cashews, almonds, pistachios, raisins, cardamom and nutmeg powder. Mix well.

Mix saffron solution and stir the kheer continuously.

When it thickens a little, turn off the heat, add rose essence, and then add the rose petals.

Transfer to a serving bowl. Garnish with dry fruits and rose petals. Offer to Mother Goddess Durga Ambe Bhavani.
Tips
Always soak saffron strands into the hot water to release fast and perfect saffron color to add in sweets.
