Crispy Waffles
The complete and fun breakfast your kids, guests, and you have been needing! I used the most affordable waffle maker on the market, round version, chocolate chips, and a basic hand mixer.
Crispy Waffles
The complete and fun breakfast your kids, guests, and you have been needing! I used the most affordable waffle maker on the market, round version, chocolate chips, and a basic hand mixer.
Steps
- 1
Beat the eggs until frothy.
- 2
Add the milk (I use fortified milk for kids) and the melted butter. Beat for 1 more minute. (It's fine if everything is slightly warm.)
- 3
In a separate bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually fold the wet mixture into the dry ingredients with a spatula. Mix until just combined. It's even better if you sift the dry ingredients first to avoid lumps.
- 4
Pour the batter into the preheated waffle maker and cook until golden brown. Be sure to add just enough batter to cover the waffle maker without overfilling, or it may spill over.
- 5
Serve with your favorite toppings: chocolate chips, strawberries, and/or dulce de leche.
